Description
The flinders ranges scorpion is Australias 3rd* largest scorpion, and the largest commercially available. (Urodacus centralis and U. excellens are not in the hobby). These scorpions are found in SA’s Flinders ranges, in short burrows under rocks in gullies and hillsides.
Large adult males can be up to 15cm in length from head to tail, females about 7-9cm.
*Described species, new species are always being discovered. Size comparison state it based on averages, not every individual is the same.
