Description
These prowling spiders are found in montane eucalyptus woodland in SA’s Mt. Lofty ranges. They are a medium-large species and are darker in colour than most other species. They inhabit silk-lined burrows in river banks or silken retreats under stones. At night they leave their retreat to forage for prey.
Juveniles are more pale and ave reduced patterns that become more prominent with age.
Sold as unsexed juveniles.
