Description

This species of beetle from the family Chrysomelidae are found on eucalyptus trees around Adelaide, SA where they feed on Eucalyptus leaves, making them a suitable companion for Katydids and Stick insects. Just ensure you do not throw them away with the old leaves as they aren’t big and can fly short distances.

These beetles are completely harmless and can be handled, however do this inside as they may be able to fly away and get lost.
