This acrylic enclosure is perfect for nearly all of our bugs! It is very versatile and can be used vertically or horizontally. (Upright or lengthwise)
Measurements : 20 x12 x 12cm
This enclosure is completely clear from all angles – you can see your pet bug from any viewpoint!
You can also choose to have us kit your enclosure out for the type of invertebrate that you will be buying it for. You will receive appropriate substrate, fake plants, hides etc that your particular critter would need.

Enclosure Care Tips:
Acrylic can last an eternity with minimal care and maintenance. Acrylic care consists of no more than normal wipe-cleaning to keep it looking new – but care should be taken to avoid scratches.
To avoid warping : Acrylic is not suitable for bio-active setups as the humidity levels could cause the edges of the doors to warp. Direct sunlight should also be avoided for this reason. Never saturate the walls when misting.
Cleaning Acrylic:
Use only a very soft damp cloth when cleaning acrylic surfaces. It is possible to scratch acrylic, so NEVER use any scouring compounds or chemical cleaners such as Windex or other glass cleaners (even if they are environmentally friendly, organic or non-scented). Should anything ever stick to an acrylic surface (such as an adhesive label or gummy substance) do not use any type of solvent.

A very solid little enclosure! Arrived to rural NSW pretty fast and was well packed in a solid little cardboard box so no damage. If anyone needs to know – it’s sent already built, not as a flatpack. I like that the locking mechanism on the side requires you to click/snap it into place. The hinges are tight without being restrictive, but give you full control – i.e. the door won’t come flying open on its own which is fantastic. The joins are also really clean! I’ve seen similar enclosures that are messily glued together. Thank you, Bug Frenzy!

Absolutely wonderful enclosure! Up until now I’ve just been using big plastic jars from Costco that I drilled ventilation holes in and decorated, so these feel super luxurious in comparison. Good quality box, but I would recommend not misting the sides of the enclosure (just spray the plant and the bark hide / substrate). If you spray too much, the humidity can get a bit much and you can warp the lid (as happened to mine), as you would with an increase in humidity. If you’re worried, use an elastic band or something to secure the lid even more. Great little enclosure!

After one day of unpacking and setting up, the door won’t close properly. Ive had to use the two rubber bands that were already around the enclosure when I opened it which makes me think it may have already been damaged.
Other than that, was delivered to QLD within the week and it’s such a pretty enclosure for my pet jumper.
