Description
Another new Peacock spider we have discovered – this time in arid Gibber plains in Central Australia. Gibber is a type of flat, stony desert with little vegetation.
Males are silver with red stripes on the abdomen. Females are extremely well camouflaged on the stony red dirt and can be impossible to see when not moving in the wild.
Setup: They will need a horizontal setup, with substrate a mix of red sand and cocopeat. These little jumpers are really small, about 6-8 mm in size and needs crickets that are between pinhead size and x-small. X-small crickets will be too large for them. If you don’t have access to the appropriate food size/type please do not purchase. If you purchase our “Teeny crickets” with this order we will include the right sized crickets.
