Description

Selenocosmia is a smaller tarantula genus found across most of the arid interior.  They inhabit deep burrows with minimal webbing around it.

This species is probably the same as S.stirlingi.

While they are found in arid areas, they burrow to an area where it is moist so they need to be kept on moist coco peat.

WARNING : Tarantulas have tarsal claws and scopula pads and can climb plastic and glass, be careful.
