Description

A very large, attractively patterned huntsman spider, featuring prominent black and white patterns on the carapace and abdomen, and banding on the legs. A hardy and often extremely slow growing species.

This species inhabits semi-arid Southern Australia, often near dry watercourses. They reach 160mm in legspan.
