Description
This is one of the largest jumping spiders in Australia – reaching 18mm in body length and is only rivalled by a few others, such as Bavia aericeps.
They are usually a bright green in colour but can be yellow or orange. Females have red spots bordered by white on top of their heads, while males have a fringe of hair around the face that gives them a “monkey face” appearance.
Photo is a juvenile, sold as sub/adult female.
