Description
This reddish arid species of Lychas is found in SA’s far northern mallee and is large up to(about 45mm long for mature adults)
They do not live in groups either, being found at night in mallee sand plains under the fallen leaves and bark of Eucalyptus gracilis (Yorrel gum tree) where they roam looking for prey such as spiders, cockroaches and crickets.
