Description
Rather unusually for a jumping spider, the females of this northern Australian species are even prettier than the metallic blue and black males, featuring cyan and red stripes on the carapace, yellow legs and a black and cream abdomen with orange spots. These spiders are medium-sized and can often be found around green tree ant (Oecophylla smaragdina) nests for unclear reasons.
Care: At the moment it is loving fruit flies but can also takes one pinhead cricket once every day/every other day. Mist twice weekly and keep in a vertical setup with cocopeat, bark hide, fake plants.
Sold as unsexed juvies.
