Description

A large species of wolf spider inhabiting the crests of sand dunes in SA’s northern desert region. Juveniles are lighter in colour than adults and more red. Adults grow to 20-25mm in body length. The a portion of their sand should be dry at all times, along with another portion being slightly moist. They require red desert sand as substrate.
