Description

This is a chunky round-backed millipede from the Newcastle area in New South Wales. It has a smooth, cylindrical body and a tough armoured look.

These millipedes like damp leaf litter and soil. They’re calm, slow movers and easy to keep in a terrarium.

What makes them special is they glow under UV light. Turn on a blacklight and they light up with a cool fluorescent shine.

They eat rotting leaves and wood. Great for bioactive setups or as a low-maintenance pet.
