Description
These medium-large sized wolf spiders are found on the surface of salt lakes in inland South Australia. During the day they bury themselves under the salt or under the sand or the nearby sand dunes and emerge at night to hunt on the salty surface. These spiders are predominantly light-grey to white with variably intense brown markings. The legs have prominent spines which made assist in detecting predators via air movements.
These spiders are hardy and should be kept on white sand with some ventilation.
