Description

This medium-sized, very hairy jumping spider is found on tidal mudflats in SA.

The spider’s long hair is typically grey with some brown flecks mixed in. We suspect this is very closely related to, or perhaps a colour form of the ‘beach bum jumper’ and has the two spots on the abdomen visible, albeit very faint.

Care: Needs white sand for burrowing, eats pinhead crickets
