Description

This is a small, rare species of ant mimicking jumping spider found from SEQ to central NSW. As adults they are typically a glossy black with two pairs of stripes on the abdomen which are reflective, probably giving rise to the scientific name (nitidus roughly translates to ‘shiny’)
