Description

Heteropoda procera is a medium-sized, attractively patterned huntsman spider primarily found in rainforest habitats in Queensland and northern NSW. This species possess long, slender legs and is often found at higher altitudes.

Due to the species’ preference for moist areas, they must be kept with much less ventilation and more humidity than other huntsman spiders so mesh enclosures cannot be used.
