This species of Cormocephalus is found in eastern Australia, from western VIC up to Brisbane. The body is a deep blue-green with yellowish orange legs, blue antennae and a red cephalic plate. This species grows to 130mm in length. Average adult lengths are around 90mm. They are very hardy but may stay buried for long periods of time.
