Description
- Eurycnema goliath is a very large stick insect species found across parts of NSW and Queensland.
- Nymphs are brown and stick-like while adult females are huge and green with big wings.
- Reaching 30cm in length, the females have large spines on the back legs that can cause pain if the insect is harassed.
This species feeds on Acacia (Wattle) and Eucalyptus (Gum).
