Very pretty striped maratus

Out of stock

Description

This medium sized jumper is in the same genus as the Peacock spiders, however the male is not colourful and does not dance. Females are still pretty jumpers in their own right, with a light coloured abdomen, dark head and dark stripes on the abdomen.

This species grows to 10mm long.

Care Tips:

This jumper (if adult) should be fed x-small crickets – no bigger than the spider’s body size. This juvie is currently eating pinheads.

Enclosure should have lots of things to explore like bark hides and fake plants, as these jumpers are quite active.

We love our new addition! He/she is settling in very well! Our package was packed so well, I was so impressed from the labelling to the packing on the inside holding everything safely in place.
