Description
The mottled wishbone is a large species of Anamid trapdoor spider (Genus Namea) found in Southern QLD. They build open holes with lots of webbing around. This species is large for the genus and grows to 40mm in body length. They are also brutal feeders, snapping crickets in half or piercing the head with the massive fangs. They are mildly venomous but fast and defensive if cornered.
