Here at Bug Frenzy we use wood wool for our fruit fly cultures, as well as for our newborn mantis nymphs. They love sitting on the strands of wool which acts as a great substitute for grass in the wild. It makes it easier for them to catch their prey and to give them a good base to molt from.
