Description
This is a species of Zodariid ground spider/ant spider found in SA’s far northern mallee, where they can be found inhabiting leaf litter under Eucalyptus trees, under the bark of eucalyptus trees or hiding underneath Triodia grass (spinifex).
This is a medium sized species, growing to about 8-12mm long. They have a beautiful purplish abdomen with 5 yellow spots and a dark coloured.
We recommend the bug box with “Desert boy” kit selected. Your kit will contain red desert sand, leaf litter, BYO water bowl scoria and a fake plant.
