This medium-sized jumping spider belongs to the genus of Iridescent Jumping Spiders (Cosmophasis). This species can be found in the NT, QLD and Torres Strait Islands.
Males are a beautiful metallic green and have black legs with green bands. The black areas also form horizontal stripes on the carapace and 2 longitudinal stripes on the abdomen. Females are entirely shiny gold-brown with darker brown swirls on the abdomen. They are generally found in rainforest next to rivers.
