Description
The banded sandy wolf spider is a species of wolf spider found in the SA mallee, being a diurnal(day active) species inhabiting sand plains. this is a fairly small species, with adults reaching about 10mm or so in body length. this species is a great feeder, often taking multiple pinhead crickets at once.
The name derives from it’s banded legs and it’s Psammophylic (Sand loving) habitats
