Description

Cheiracanthium is a genus of sac spiders commonly found on plants at night, another genus sharing the name of sac spider, Clubiona, have shorter legs, are more robust and build silk sacs underneath tree bark. This species is found on beaches where they build a sand covered sac underneath low plants and then hunt on the dunes at night.

This species is medium sized for Cheiracanthium and grows to 10mm.  Cheiracanthium are fast and this species can climb plastic quite well so be careful not to let her escape.
