Description
This very large, slender huntsman spider can be found in caves and rock escarpments in Northern queensland.
Habitat: Rock walls and crevices in basalt caves and escarpments in a small area of semi-arid Queensland.
Size: Body length to 30mm, legspan up to 155mm
Features: Extremely long legs, skittish temperament, Body is light brown with numerous darker stripes and blotches that darken as the spider ages. These spiders are extremely fast and are able to jump small distances repeatedly to escape danger.
