Description
Apricia jovialis is a colourful widespread species of jumping spider, found from Brisbane all the way down to Perth.
They are a very friendly species who appears quite calm and content. Perhaps a bit too friendly 😉
This species prefers trees to bushes and is rather flat in morphology.
We recommend any of our acrylic custom enclosures such as the mini bug box with side door.
- sold as unsexed juvies eating pinheads or fruit flies.

Bug Frenzy has been extremely patient with all of my long emails and lots of questions as an anxious beginner spider keeper. They’ve always been quick to respond and SO helpful.
My little Jovial juvenile arrived safely in a very timely manner and is cute as a button. It’s so chill and was difficult to get into its new little enclosure because it was enjoying exploring my finger too much! I can’t wait to see it grow.
Thank you so much Bug Frenzy, you’ve got a happy and loyal customer in me.

Arrived safe and well and seemingly very well fed so the little one wouldn’t be hungry during the trip. I, unfortunately, had my previous jovial sling escape the enclosure I made for it, I was devastated and Bug Frenzy was fantastic about ensuring I could get the next available jovial baby from them. They also made sure the enclosure I ordered with it was 100% escape-proof. I’m so happy, thank you so much Bug Frenzy!
