Description

This small-medium sized (up to 80mm) centipede is found in coastal north and Central Queensland, usually in rainforests. They’re a dark blue colour with banded terminal legs and a light build. this species is named due to it’s interesting defence mechanism of very erratic movements including flicking themselves a short distance in the air.
