Description
These large, orange-brown millipedes are found in sandy environments in South-east Queensland. Juveniles often have a lighter tip to the tail and are a paler overall colour than the reddish-brown adults. This species is very large and reaches 10 centimetres in length. Millipedes feed on decomposing wood, leaves and other organic matter. They will also eat a bit of vegetable such as carrots or pumpkin.
