Painted stick insect (Anchiale briaerus)

Description

These are medium sized (Mature females around 10-12cm in length) stick insects found in Old, being much more common in northern rainforests. Juveniles are very colourful, with a mix of Red, white, black and blue.

This species feeds on Eucalyptus and may also take Acacia.
