Description
A small, black, faintly banded millipede species that on the surface is fairly unremarkable. However, they truly shine when viewed under UV (black/ultraviolet light), fluorescing bright blue! This species is found in Northern NSW and reaches about 50mm in length. Millipedes are detritivores and require a moist enclosure with plenty of leaf litter and decomposing wood to feed on, and they may sometimes eat vegetable supplements too.
