Description

These small (<5cm) Mantids are found, as the name suggests, on paperbark trees in northern Queensland where they live and hunt on bark.

These mantids like warm, moist conditions and are fine with any eucalyptus bark, not just paperbark.

These mantids are calm and easily handled and can be fed via tweezers easily.

Mantids need feeding at least twice a week.
