Description

These are small, beautiful crab spiders found in NSW and QLD. They carapace and legs are green while the abdomen is yellow and pink. They often sit on flowers to attract and eat pollinating insects such as bees, wasps, flies and mosquitoes. Crab spiders are very timid, have small fangs and very weak venom which makes them ideal for handling. They are also hardy and easy to care for and should accept fruit flies and/or crickets.
