Description
Labidura truncata is a widespread species of earwig often found on the banks of rivers,lakes or even the ocean. They are large earwigs and are much more aggressively predatory than other species. Males have longer forceps than females which are used in courtship and to capture prey. They will also feed ravenously on fruit and grains.
Sold as a colony of approximately 10 individuals. They will breed provided a large enclosure with deep, moist substrate.
