Description

This is a medium-sized centipede found in south-eastern australia, often in moist places near waterways such as creeks, streams and rivers. The colour of the body is very difficult to describe, it’s brown, yet green, black yet blue all at the same time. The legs are greenish and the antennae blue. These centipedes are rarely active and spend most of their time burrowed. They grow to 80mm in length.

This juvenile individual is missing a terminal leg
