Description
These small mantises are found throughout the East coast and are named for their pointy, slender appearance. They are greenish-blue as adults, transparent green when juvenile and grow up to about 30mm in length. These mantises vary quite a lot in temperament, some are quite tame and will tolerate handling while others are skittish and will readily jump off your hand. Like all mantises they need some ventilation, but also some humidity, so don’t go overboard on ventilation for this species.
