Cute Spotty Jumper from the Mallee

Description

This species of Euophyrinid rockhopper is found in SA’s far northern mallee, where it inhabits leaf litter or lives in the bark of eucalyptus trees.

It’s a small (5-7mm) species with a very finely spotted abdomen and a dark patch by the eyes on the head. We suspect this species is most closely related to Saitis, Maratus and Jotus (peacock spiders)

Optional Kit includes:

  • Jumperarium 2.0 enclosure
  • red sand collected from the locale of this species
  • fake plants for climbing
  • moss bowl of Sphagnum moss

*Sold as small unsexed juvenile

** Picture of Jumperarium is for display only, contents may vary
