Description
This species of Euophyrinid rockhopper is found in SA’s far northern mallee, where it inhabits leaf litter or lives in the bark of eucalyptus trees.
It’s a small (5-7mm) species with a very finely spotted abdomen and a dark patch by the eyes on the head. We suspect this species is most closely related to Saitis, Maratus and Jotus (peacock spiders)
Optional Kit includes:
- Jumperarium 2.0 enclosure
- red sand collected from the locale of this species
- fake plants for climbing
- moss bowl of Sphagnum moss
*Sold as small unsexed juvenile
** Picture of Jumperarium is for display only, contents may vary
