Description
Miturga is a genus of medium to very large araneomorph prowling spiders found across Australia, preferring drier regions.
This species is from Adelaide and grows to 13 in body length. These are adult-sub adult females.
They make awesome webs and are very active hunters, stalking crickets around the enclosure like a cat, pausing when the cricket detects them and pouncing when close.
Miturga and Mituliodon are extremely fast, powerful and agile hunters and possess the ability to climb all smooth surfaces with ease, be cautious when opening the enclosure and make sure there are no large gaps.
