Description

Isopeda villosa is a species of huntsman spider found from about Nowra up through Sydney and the Blue Mountains and to about Port Macquarie.

Isopeda villosa is a medium sized species, growing to 40mm in body length and 130mm in leg span. It is a light greyish colour with 4-6 black spots on the abdomen and bands on the underside of the legs.

Sold as sustainably captive bred juveniles (about 25mm legspan)

Feed on pinhead- extra small crickets or woodies

Extremely fast and can climb smooth surfaces.
