Venator spenceri is a species of wolf spider found from SE QLD to the drier parts of western SA. This species is variable in size and colour and can be from 13-18mm in mature body length. This species can be from light grey to a dark, chestnut brown. When moulting they create a space under the substrate and will stay there for about a month.

Came well packaged with plenty of sphagnum moss to protect the spider and a cool pack to help with the heat during travel. I got a male that’s healthy and very curious. He even spent a little time watching me back before continuing to explore his enclosure and having a cricket sized snack.
10/10 will be buying more wolf spiders from here to fuel my obsession!
