Description
Found in burrows in SA’s arid Eyre peninsula and surrounds, this species is similar to Urodacus armatus, but distinguishable by the overall darker colour, and in differences on the hand (manus).
This species has much smoother hands than U. armatus with less bumps and ridges, aswell as longer fingers. Long fingers on the claws is generally more prevalent in larger Urodacus species, although this particular species is small, reaching 60mm.
