Description
Scolopendra morsitans is Australia’s 2nd largest species of centipede and is found across almost all of mainland Australia except for temperate Australia east of the great divide. This particular colour form is from southern WA and is characterised by it’s medium size, calm temperament and rich orange legs. This form can grow to about 14cm. Scolopendra morsitans is only recommended for experienced keepers as they are suspectable to mycosis. We recommend an enclosure with strong ventilation on one end, dry substrate and a permanent source of water in a dish with scoria.
