Description

This is an extraordinary species of huntsman found in SA’s paddocks, meadows and grassland. They are common at certain times of the year and are very much quite different to other Badge huntsman, having a tiny, simple badge underneath the abdomen and cryptic colouration.

These spiders grow to an estimated body length of 30mm long. they hunt in the long grass for smaller prey such as juvenile katydids and other small spiders.
