Join Ruby from Bug Frenzy for a fun, hands-on workshop all about jumping spiders.

In this session you’ll learn about jumping spider behaviour, their amazing eyesight, active hunting style, and daily care requirements. You will then build a complete bioactive enclosure designed specifically for this species — including live plants, natural substrate, climbing structures, and a cleanup crew.

What you’ll take home:

• Your own captive-bred Plexippus petersi OR Maratus griseus OR Servaea incana  jumping spider (~$40 value- you can pick which one you want)
• A Big box box 2.0 acrylic enclosure (~$70 value)
• All materials needed for the bioactive setup including soil and plants
• Feeder crickets
• “Chick me a feed mate!” Cricket feeder and handler and other extras
• Expert guidance and confidence to care for your new pet
