Description
A very interesting jumper, we found this adult female under the bark of Eucalyptus camuldulensis in Adelaide’s Parklands, Helpis are fairly common jumpers in gardens, males being quite elongated and intimidating but neither sex is this large, this individual is a whopping 13-14mm in length, we have yet to see a male. Another interesting feature is the prominent dark, long triangle outline on the underside of the abdomen.
And… this has been the friendliest jumper we have ever came across!
