Description
This species of wolf spider is found in SA’s far northern region where they inhabitant claypans. They emerge at night to hunt.
Care is easy like most Arid Lycosidae. Red desert sand to a depth of 3-4cm in an enclosure around 15x20cm. One side of the enclosure (lid and walls) should be well ventilated and the other lacking ventilation. One corner of the non-ventilated side should be kept moist.
This species can be high-strung and active, hence the name.
