Description
These shiny black peacock spiders are found on the beaches of south-west WA. Females are white with speckles to blend in with the sand. They are closely related to our undescribed SA species, but differ in leg colour among other things.
The abdomen of these spiders are completely black with few hairs. The cephalothorax is dark brown often with small stripes.
Care Instructions:
Food: Large pinheads, average feeding is crickets every three days.
The cricket should be half the body size of the spider (excl legs)
These jumpers require fine beach sand or very fine crushed shells to enable them to make their sleeping sacks in the sand. Keep the sand dry. Set up the enclosure horizontal, rather than vertical.

He was extremely cute but however passed a few days after his arrival after showing no signs of abnormality. The team however worked great and fast to resolve this 🙂

Awesome friendly litter jumper but be careful because he can jump HUGE distances.
He doesn’t like sand?

This little guy is so friendly and loves to come out and hang with me. He eats well and loves to explore his home. My spoods from bug frenzy are always in perfect condition when I receive them and are so darn cute!
