Description
This is a small-mid sized native isopod species found throughout coastal NSW and QLD. This species is quite robust and ‘pill-shaped’ compared to most other Cubaris species and probably does not actually belong to that genus. Like other native isopods they are very variable in colouration but they usually have patches of shade of light yellow or brown on a background of dark brown or black.
