Trochanteriidae is a family of very flat spiders found under tree bark and rocks.
These spiders are fast and skittish, so be careful when opening the enclosure. They can be 2mm in body length up to 15mm.
This species is one of the larger ones, being about 12mm in body length.
Trochanteriids have weak venom and are very timid.
